Arrival in tour buses

Meran & Tour buses, a successful and organizationally tried and tested combination!

Tour buses headed directly to the Meran Christmas market are provided with an efficient routing system including an overview of the city’s exits and feeder roads, in order to easily enter into the city centre without any previous knowledge. The tour buses are also permitted to enter the constructed terminal for tourist buses on Piavestraße. Tour buses have the opportunity to halt there briefly and allow their guests to step out and view the terminal.

Tour buses coming from the motorway MEBO travel every day via Romstraße, via Petrarcastraße and then Piavestraße, directly into the city centre to the bus terminal. The bus terminal is just below the Therme Meran Spa and offers sufficient parking for all tour buses travelling to the Meran Christmas market. During the day, buses may park in the parking lot at the horse-racing track on Gampenstraße. Organizers have set up a shuttle service for bus drivers on weekends from the tour bus parking lot to the Meran Christmas market. These measures are designed to avoid traffic jams in the city centre and facilitate the arrival and departure of tour buses.
